INASUS TO EXECUTE FACADE OF TALLEST HIGH RISE IN BIRMINGHAM
Inasus has just won a new contract in the United Kingdom, specifically in the city of Birmingham: The Broad Street building. Thus, Inasus enjoys again the trust of a large client to carry out an emblematic project. The Galician company has been awarded the contract by the construction company John Sisk, one of the largest ones in the United Kingdom, with projects worldwide.
An innovative design was planned by the prestigious Glenn Howells architecture studio, which is considered one of the most important studios in the United Kingdom. The firm reflected one of its maxims – flexibility of space and abundance of natural light. This is one of the most unique projects currently underway in Europe.
THE PROJECT: 2ONE2 BROAD STREET
At 42 stories tall, this is the tallest luxury home building in the city of Birmingham. The building has 481 apartments. Boasting more than 2,700 square metres of communal space, it includes a living room for residents, a health centre, and exclusive restaurants, plus an additional commercial and leisure space of 3,250 square metres. Sports can be played on the rooftop of the building on a 200-metre running track, which offers stunning panoramic views of Birmingham.
The projected building contains a total facade area of 25,000 square metres. The contract was signed in May 2019, the starting date for the design phase, and will last until December 2021.
